- Remove the thick [blue] wire taking mains directly from the input pin to the output pin
- Cut the board close to the relay pin, where the
extra wire is soldered marked in the photo, this stops any mains
reaching the relay.
- A Dremel with cutting tool works well, to remove any track or board at that location.
- Solder any wire [a short strand of Ethernet cable can be used] to the relay pin and output pin formerly used by the blue cable.
- Make a small groove in the side of the board to allow the wire to pass from underneath to above.
- Use a meter to test to see if there is any connection between input pins and output pins, there must be none
- In the App set Inching mode for the device to .5 seconds
- When you turn on the device the relay will close for .5 seconds and then open again.
- This simulates a simple push button in any circuit, completely isolate from the mains supply
